cbmc software package provides bounded model checker for C and C++ programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cbmc
cbmc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cbmc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cbmc *
You will get with cbmc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
