How to uninstall or remove cameleon-doc software package from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

You can uninstall or removes an installed cameleon-doc package itself from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove cameleon-doc

Uninstall cameleon-doc including dependent package

If you would like to remove cameleon-doc and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cameleon-doc

Use Purging cameleon-doc

If you use with purge options to cameleon-doc package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge cameleon-doc

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cameleon-doc
