bpython-urwid software package provides fancy interface to the Python interpreter - urwid frontend, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bpython-urwid
bpython-urwid is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bpython-urwid package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bpython-urwid *
You will get with bpython-urwid package name, version, architecture and description in a table
