boxes software package provides Textmode box- and comment drawing filter, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install boxes
boxes is installed in your system.
Make ensure the boxes package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep boxes *
You will get with boxes package name, version, architecture and description in a table
