aspell-pt-br software package provides Brazilian Portuguese dictionary for GNU Aspell, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aspell-pt-br
aspell-pt-br is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aspell-pt-br package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aspell-pt-br *
You will get with aspell-pt-br package name, version, architecture and description in a table
