array-info software package provides command line tool reporting RAID status for several RAID types, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install array-info
array-info is installed in your system.
Make ensure the array-info package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep array-info *
You will get with array-info package name, version, architecture and description in a table
