web3-provider-engine : [](https://greenkeeper.io/). You can installing web3-provider-engine npm packages, there are two ways to install this module locally and globaly. -g option is specified to global. Execute the below command.
$ sudo npm install web3-provider-engine $ sudo npm install -g web3-provider-engine
If want to update the web3-provider-engine package execute the command as below,
$ sudo npm update web3-provider-engine
Update package globally,
$ npm install -g web3-provider-engine
$ sudo git clone https://github.com/rektide/web3-provider-engine.git
$ sudo npm install -g ./web3-provider-engine
web3-provider-engine@13.3.3 /usr/lib/node_modules/web3-provider-engine
You can uninstall or remove this package from your node_modules run the command as below,
$ sudo npm uninstall web3-provider-engine
