If want to update the react-addons-update package execute the command as below,

Update package globally,
$ npm install -g react-addons-update
$ sudo git clone https://github.com/rektide/react-addons-update.git
$ sudo npm install -g ./react-addons-update
react-addons-update@15.6.2 /usr/lib/node_modules/react-addons-update
You can uninstall or remove this package from your node_modules run the command as below,
$ sudo npm uninstall react-addons-update
