How to Install java-virtual-machine software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

java-virtual-machine software package provides virtual package provided by gcj-jre-headless, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install java-virtual-machine

java-virtual-machine is installed in your system.

Make ensure the java-virtual-machine package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep java-virtual-machine*
