How to Install irb software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

irb software package provides virtual package provided by ruby, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install irb

irb is installed in your system.

Make ensure the irb package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep irb*

You will get with irb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
