How to Install idn software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

idn software package provides Command line and Emacs interface to GNU Libidn, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install idn

idn is installed in your system.

Make ensure the idn package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep idn *

You will get with idn package name, version, architecture and description in a table
