How to uninstall or remove icedove-calendar-exchange-prov software package from Debian 9 (Stretch)

You can uninstall or removes an installed icedove-calendar-exchange-prov package itself from Debian 9 (Stretch) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove icedove-calendar-exchange-prov

Uninstall icedove-calendar-exchange-prov including dependent package

If you would like to remove icedove-calendar-exchange-prov and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove icedove-calendar-exchange-prov

Use Purging icedove-calendar-exchange-prov

If you use with purge options to icedove-calendar-exchange-prov package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge icedove-calendar-exchange-prov

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove icedove-calendar-exchange-prov
