ibus-sunpinyin software package provides sunpinyin engine for ibus, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ibus-sunpinyin
ibus-sunpinyin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ibus-sunpinyin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ibus-sunpinyin *
You will get with ibus-sunpinyin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
