hfst-ospell-dev software package provides HFST spell checker development files, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hfst-ospell-dev
hfst-ospell-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hfst-ospell-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hfst-ospell-dev *
You will get with hfst-ospell-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
