How to Install hashdeep software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

hashdeep software package provides recursively compute hashsums or piecewise hashings, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install hashdeep

hashdeep is installed in your system.

Make ensure the hashdeep package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hashdeep *

You will get with hashdeep package name, version, architecture and description in a table
