$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install hamradio-rigcontrol 

hamradio-rigcontrol is installed in your system.

Make ensure the hamradio-rigcontrol package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hamradio-rigcontrol *

You will get with hamradio-rigcontrol package name, version, architecture and description in a table
