gtk2hs-buildtools software package provides Tools to build the Gtk2Hs suite of User Interface libraries, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gtk2hs-buildtools
gtk2hs-buildtools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gtk2hs-buildtools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gtk2hs-buildtools *
You will get with gtk2hs-buildtools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
