golang-github-rainycape-unidec software package provides replace non-ASCII characters with their ASCII approximations, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-rainycape-unidec
golang-github-rainycape-unidec is installed in your system.
