golang-github-mattn-go-runewid software package provides functions to get fixed width of the character or string, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-mattn-go-runewid
golang-github-mattn-go-runewid is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-github-mattn-go-runewid package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-github-mattn-go-runewid*
