golang-github-hashicorp-go-sys software package provides Golang syslog wrapper, cross-compile friendly, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-github-hashicorp-go-sys
golang-github-hashicorp-go-sys is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-github-hashicorp-go-sys package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-github-hashicorp-go-sys*
You will get with golang-github-hashicorp-go-sys package name, version, architecture and description in a table
