gnome-mines software package provides popular minesweeper puzzle game for GNOME, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-mines
gnome-mines is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-mines package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-mines *
You will get with gnome-mines package name, version, architecture and description in a table
