gmerlin-encoders software package provides virtual package provided by gmerlin-encoders-good, gmerlin-encoders-extra, gmerlin-encoders-ffmpeg, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gmerlin-encoders
gmerlin-encoders is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gmerlin-encoders package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gmerlin-encoders*
You will get with gmerlin-encoders package name, version, architecture and description in a table
