glibc-pic software package provides virtual package provided by libc6-pic, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install glibc-pic
glibc-pic is installed in your system.
Make ensure the glibc-pic package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep glibc-pic*
You will get with glibc-pic package name, version, architecture and description in a table
