fonts-inconsolata software package provides monospace font for pretty code listings and for the terminal, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-inconsolata
fonts-inconsolata is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-inconsolata package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-inconsolata *
You will get with fonts-inconsolata package name, version, architecture and description in a table
