flex-old software package provides Old version of the fast lexical analyzer generator, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install flex-old
flex-old is installed in your system.
Make ensure the flex-old package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep flex-old *
You will get with flex-old package name, version, architecture and description in a table
