How to uninstall or remove firmware-bnx2x software package from Debian 9 (Stretch)

You can uninstall or removes an installed firmware-bnx2x package itself from Debian 9 (Stretch) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove firmware-bnx2x 

Uninstall firmware-bnx2x including dependent package

If you would like to remove firmware-bnx2x and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firmware-bnx2x 
Use Purging firmware-bnx2x

If you use with purge options to firmware-bnx2x package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge firmware-bnx2x 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firmware-bnx2x
