How to uninstall or remove fftw-double-dev software package from Debian 9 (Stretch)

You can uninstall or removes an installed fftw-double-dev package itself from Debian 9 (Stretch) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove fftw-double-dev

Uninstall fftw-double-dev including dependent package

If you would like to remove fftw-double-dev and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove fftw-double-dev
Use Purging fftw-double-dev

If you use with purge options to fftw-double-dev package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge fftw-double-dev

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove fftw-double-dev
