festival-italian software package provides virtual package provided by festlex-ifd, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install festival-italian
festival-italian is installed in your system.
Make ensure the festival-italian package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep festival-italian*
You will get with festival-italian package name, version, architecture and description in a table
