How to uninstall or remove exim4-base software package from Debian 9 (Stretch)

You can uninstall or removes an installed exim4-base package itself from Debian 9 (Stretch) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove exim4-base 

Uninstall exim4-base including dependent package

If you would like to remove exim4-base and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove exim4-base 
Use Purging exim4-base

If you use with purge options to exim4-base package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge exim4-base 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove exim4-base
