How to Install evince software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

evince software package provides Document (PostScript, PDF) viewer, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install evince

evince is installed in your system.

Make ensure the evince package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep evince *

You will get with evince package name, version, architecture and description in a table
