How to uninstall or remove etc1tool software package from Debian 9 (Stretch)

You can uninstall or removes an installed etc1tool package itself from Debian 9 (Stretch) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove etc1tool

Uninstall etc1tool including dependent package

If you would like to remove etc1tool and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove etc1tool
Use Purging etc1tool

If you use with purge options to etc1tool package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge etc1tool

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove etc1tool
