erlang-cuttlefish software package provides Erlang/OTP library for sysctl-like syntax, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install erlang-cuttlefish
erlang-cuttlefish is installed in your system.
Make ensure the erlang-cuttlefish package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep erlang-cuttlefish *
You will get with erlang-cuttlefish package name, version, architecture and description in a table
