elpa-ibuffer-vc software package provides group ibuffer list by VC project and show VC status, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install elpa-ibuffer-vc
elpa-ibuffer-vc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the elpa-ibuffer-vc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep elpa-ibuffer-vc *
You will get with elpa-ibuffer-vc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
