How to uninstall or remove dnstap-ldns software package from Debian 9 (Stretch)

You can uninstall or removes an installed dnstap-ldns package itself from Debian 9 (Stretch) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove dnstap-ldns 

Uninstall dnstap-ldns including dependent package

If you would like to remove dnstap-ldns and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dnstap-ldns 
Use Purging dnstap-ldns

If you use with purge options to dnstap-ldns package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge dnstap-ldns 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dnstap-ldns
