dict-server software package provides virtual package provided by dictd, dicod, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dict-server
dict-server is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dict-server package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dict-server*
You will get with dict-server package name, version, architecture and description in a table
