debian-installer-8-netboot-i38 software package provides Debian-installer network boot images for i386, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install debian-installer-8-netboot-i38
debian-installer-8-netboot-i38 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the debian-installer-8-netboot-i38 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep debian-installer-8-netboot-i38*
