container-tools software package provides virtual package provided by open-infrastructure-container-tools, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install container-tools
container-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the container-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep container-tools*
You will get with container-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
