cdrom-core-modules-4.7.0-1-oct software package provides CDROM support, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cdrom-core-modules-4.7.0-1-oct
cdrom-core-modules-4.7.0-1-oct is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cdrom-core-modules-4.7.0-1-oct package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cdrom-core-modules-4.7.0-1-oct*
