cairo-dock software package provides Metapackage for cairo-dock, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cairo-dock
cairo-dock is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cairo-dock package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cairo-dock *
You will get with cairo-dock package name, version, architecture and description in a table
