How to Install c-compiler software package in Debian 9 (Stretch)

c-compiler software package provides virtual package provided by gcc, gcc-6, gcc-5, clang-3.9, bcc, clang-3.5, clang-3.8, clang-3.7, tcc, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install c-compiler

c-compiler is installed in your system.

Make ensure the c-compiler package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep c-compiler*

You will get with c-compiler package name, version, architecture and description in a table
