byobu-extras software package provides virtual package provided by byobu, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install byobu-extras
byobu-extras is installed in your system.
Make ensure the byobu-extras package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep byobu-extras*
You will get with byobu-extras package name, version, architecture and description in a table
