boom-engine software package provides virtual package provided by doomsday, prboom-plus, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install boom-engine
boom-engine is installed in your system.
Make ensure the boom-engine package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep boom-engine*
You will get with boom-engine package name, version, architecture and description in a table
