How to uninstall or remove astro-gdl software package from Debian 9 (Stretch)

You can uninstall or removes an installed astro-gdl package itself from Debian 9 (Stretch) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove astro-gdl 

Uninstall astro-gdl including dependent package

If you would like to remove astro-gdl and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove astro-gdl 
Use Purging astro-gdl

If you use with purge options to astro-gdl package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge astro-gdl 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove astro-gdl
