How to uninstall or remove astro-development software package from Debian 9 (Stretch)

You can uninstall or removes an installed astro-development package itself from Debian 9 (Stretch) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove astro-development 

Uninstall astro-development including dependent package

If you would like to remove astro-development and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove astro-development 
Use Purging astro-development

If you use with purge options to astro-development package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge astro-development 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove astro-development
