aptitude-doc software package provides virtual package provided by aptitude-doc-en, aptitude-doc-ru, aptitude-doc-nl, aptitude-doc-cs, aptitude-doc-fi, aptitude-doc-ja, aptitude-doc-es, aptitude-doc-it, aptitude-doc-fr, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aptitude-doc
aptitude-doc is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aptitude-doc package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aptitude-doc*
You will get with aptitude-doc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
