apng2gif software package provides tool for converting APNG images to animated GIF format, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apng2gif
apng2gif is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apng2gif package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apng2gif *
You will get with apng2gif package name, version, architecture and description in a table
