adapterremoval software package provides rapid adapter trimming, identification, and read merging of gene sequences, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install adapterremoval
adapterremoval is installed in your system.
Make ensure the adapterremoval package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep adapterremoval *
You will get with adapterremoval package name, version, architecture and description in a table
