How to uninstall or remove liblog-report-lexicon-perl software package from Debian 8 (Jessie)

You can uninstall or removes an installed liblog-report-lexicon-perl package itself from Debian 8 (Jessie) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove liblog-report-lexicon-perl

Uninstall liblog-report-lexicon-perl including dependent package

If you would like to remove liblog-report-lexicon-perl and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove liblog-report-lexicon-perl

Use Purging liblog-report-lexicon-perl

If you use with purge options to liblog-report-lexicon-perl package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge liblog-report-lexicon-perl

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove liblog-report-lexicon-perl
