liblog-dispatch-filewriterotat software package provides module to log to files that archive/rotate themselves, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblog-dispatch-filewriterotat
liblog-dispatch-filewriterotat is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblog-dispatch-filewriterotat package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblog-dispatch-filewriterotat*
You will get with liblog-dispatch-filewriterotat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
