liblingua-identify-perl software package provides language identification module for perl, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install liblingua-identify-perl
liblingua-identify-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the liblingua-identify-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep liblingua-identify-perl *
You will get with liblingua-identify-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
